Me: (thinking) Okay, while I like that song, you shouldn't use the Glee version in regards to making a playlist that demonstrates the summer's hottest songs. While I find it catchy, the Glee version, you use the real version when making a playlist. Because that's not representative of the real song.

So this is stupid, but the small bickering fight just ignited something inside me.

So, my housemates and neighbor don’t find Jennifer Lawrence beautiful. Okay, and I tried fighting against it by stating that she has a great personality and she is a wonderful person. And they like jokingly attacked me, “How do you know that! You don’t know her! Hahahahaha!” So, I got upset and left.

And while this is frivolous, it also just made me mad at other things. They tell me to “pay up” when I swear into our version of a douche jar. And I snapped saying that I will not pay because I will swear when I want. I don’t think anything is wrong with swearing. I do have problems swearing at a person. But dammit, if I want to say dammit, I should be able to say dammit…. DAMMIT.

Another thing, we were watching a movie called “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” and they were saying that the kid was weird and ”I wouldn’t want a kid like him” and I was so upset because they do not understand people at all. They understand their kind of people. But not different people who think or emote differently or think with a different perspective. They come to issues with a biased idea so they can’t look at something with an unbiased eyes. They take their views in instead of having a clean slate.

Also, we were talking about things that girls and guys should do. And they were basically saying certain things girl shouldn’t do because it’s not feminine. And one of my housemates just said, “I can’t stand it when girls like are trying to hang out with the boys. Embrace your femininity.” And I replied by asking why should we follow stereotypical gender norms that society has placed upon us? Why can’t people be people? And my answer is responded with: “Okay, moving on so Sam doesn’t get angry.”

I’m sorry, why do you get to say your opinion that offended me and I can’t argue back? Why am I always shut down before things get confrontational? I will be me, and I will not take it anymore if you are going to try to make me act like you.

God, I just wanna cry. I feel so alone.
